RAW vs. Zig-Zag vs. Juicy Jay's: Rolling Paper Showdown

There are dozens of rolling paper brands. Three of them dominate the rack at every smoke shop in the country, including ours. Here's why each one earns its spot — and which one you should grab.

RAW

Unbleached, vegan, made from natural plant fibers. Burns slow and even, with minimal flavor interference. The Classic and Organic Hemp lines are the bestsellers. RAW also makes the gold-standard pre-rolled cones if you'd rather skip the rolling.

Zig-Zag

The OG. French-made, ultra-thin, very forgiving for new rollers. The orange (1¼) pack is iconic for a reason. Burns cleaner than you'd expect from a paper this thin.

Juicy Jay's

Flavored papers — and they actually taste like the flavor on the package. Watermelon, Blueberry, Strawberry, Mango, and a long list of others. Burn rate is slightly faster than RAW. Pick these when flavor is the point.
